Investors pulled $30 billion from U.S. stocks over the last 10 weeks.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch officials said in a statement the trend marks the largest streak of outflows since 2004.
Investors instead are looking at emerging markets and European and Japanese stocks. During the 10-week period, those markets experienced $36 billion in inflows.
