Investors plan mixed-use project in downtown KC building

A pair of investors are planning a mixed-use project at a historic 13-story building in downtown Kansas City.

The Peck's Plaza building, purchased for $5.2 million, is proposed for use as apartments and offices, as well as a potential yoga or massage studio and a real estate investment mentorship operation.

"I thought, from my perspective as a guy who's gone around the country and visited other real estate markets to check out and invest, the best was yet to come for Kansas City," said Troy Kearns, one of the investors.
