Hedge fund Elliott Management purchased a large stake in Twitter and may seek the ouster of its CEO, NPR reports.
The hedge fund is seeking a CEO who would focus solely on Twitter. Jack Dorsey is CEO of both Twitter and payments company Square.
Twitter's shares are worth less than now than they were when Dorsey returned as CEO in 2015. The company's founding CEO, he left in 2008 after a falling out with another co-founder.
