The Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine has been compromised in a cyberattack.
Some 31 million passwords reportedly were stolen during the breach. The site, which shows archived web pages, remains down.
The Have I Been Pwned data breach notification service reported a database had been uploaded showing "authentication information for registered members, including their email addresses, screen names, password change timestamps, Bcrypt-hashed passwords, and other internal data."
