The International Monetary Fund cited the Iran war in downgrading the global growth forecast.
The forecast now calls for 3.1% growth in 2026. The IMF previously projected 3.3% growth.
The IMF additionally raised its expectation for global inflation this year to 4.4% from its previous forecast of 3.8%.
