Interim Blues coach takes on role permanently

The interim coach of the St. Louis Blues has been appointed to the role permanently.

The organization penned a two-year contract with Drew Bannister to officially make him the team's 27th head coach.

Bannister led the team through the end of the most recent season after the firing of Craig Berube in December.
