Intel stock is rising amid media reports suggesting rivals may buy parts of its business.
Reports indicate Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Broadcom and Qualcomm are considering deals. However, analysts say TSMC may not be interested despite a push from the Trump administration.
Intel stock closed Feb. 18 at $27.39. That compares with a 52-week range of $18.51 to $46.63 per share.
