Intel CEO resigns after relationship with employee

Intel CEO Brian Krzanich resigned after having a “past consensual relationship” with an employee at the chip maker.

Company officials said Krzanich, 58, violated a non-fraternization policy for managers.

Robert Swan, Intel’s chief financial officer, was appointed interim CEO while the company searches for its next leader.
