Insurer Anthem hikes 2015 forecast, 2Q earnings climb

Health insurer Anthem has bumped up its 2015 forecast again after earnings jumped more than 17 percent in its most recent quarter.

The forecast for the Blue Cross-Blue Shield carrier is now above $10 per share for the year, up from a previous forecast of around $9.90, according to The Associated Press.

The company posted second-quarter net income of $859.1 million, up from $731.1 million a year earlier.
