Insurance company hiring 200 for new local offices

Liberty National Life Insurance Co. has opened two Springfield branches and will hold interviews for 200 jobs on Wednesday.
The McKinney, Texas-based insurance company is hiring about 200 sales agents and sales managers. Interviews will be at 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at University Plaza Hotel, 333 S. John Q. Hammons Parkway.
The new positions will serve Liberty National's two Springfield branches at 1546 E. Bradford Parkway, Ste. 100, which opened about a month ago, and at 305 E. Walnut St., Ste. 322, which opened Dec. 15, according to Jason Adams, manager of the Walnut Street branch. Jeff Miller manages the Bradford Parkway location.
Adams said the company is hoping for between 500 and 600 applicants Wednesday.
The company provides complete training for the positions. The average commission for a Liberty National representative after a year of employment was $61,675 in 2008, according to a news release.[[In-content Ad]]
