Insurance broker to buy another for $30B

Aon agreed to buy Willis Towers Watson for $30 billion in an all-stock deal.

The acquisition would combine the world’s second- and third-largest insurance brokers.

The Financial Times reports the combined company would be better able to compete with world leader Marsh & McLennan.
