Ron Popeil, a television personality and inventor known for appearing in famous infomercials, died Wednesday. He was 86.
Popeil was known for his catchphrase "set it and forget it," used to sell the Showtime Rotisserie.
He made his first infomercial in 1959 for the Chop-o-Matic.
