A Springfield-based company with more than four decades of international exporting experience has created a division to share its expertise with other local firms. International Division Inc., or InDiv, last week opened InDiv Export Management Co. The new division, according to Marketing Specialist Ivan Munoz, acts as a liaison between local companies that want to begin sending their products around the world and buyers and distributors in other countries. InDiv EMC offers services that include logistics, market research, identifying potential suppliers or buyers, shipping and delivery, communications and handling international documentation issues. Munoz, who joined the company in August to lead the division, said InDiv wants to help other local companies grow internationally. "We're trying to encourage them to look at whether they have the ability to ship globally," he said. "We also wanted to give back to the community, by helping companies to generate another source of revenue. Of course, at the same time, if that can bring us an extra source of revenue, that's great."
