Indian company mulls bid for SunEdison assets

An Indian conglomerate is considering whether to make a bid for bankrupt SunEdison's solar assets in the country.

Adani Green Energy Ltd was approached by investment bankers representing Maryland Heights-based SunEdison.

Currently, SunEdison runs Indian solar plants with some 450 megawatts of capacity. Another 800 megawatts are in development.
