India says its economy will bounce back from cash crisis

The Reserve Bank of India is predicting a rapid recovery from an economic slowdown caused by last year's self-inflicted cash crisis.

In November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi banned 500 and 1,000 rupee notes.

The Reserve Bank predicts the economy will grow 7.4 percent in the fiscal year that ends in March 2018.
