Independence financial adviser stole $1M from clients

Independence financial adviser Kraig Gier admitted he stole more than $1 million from two elderly clients.

Through his company Security Planning Corp., he took the money from a 96-year-old and an 84-year-old.

Gier also admitted he prepared false documents to convince his clients they were making money even though he had depleted their accounts.
