Springfield-based America’s Incredible Pizza Co. is closing its location in St. Louis.
The St. Louis arcade and restaurant at 5254 S. Lindbergh Blvd. is scheduled to close Aug. 17 after nearly 13 years in business, according to a news release. America’s Incredible Pizza Co. also does business as Incredible Pizza Co.
“The decision to close our St. Louis location was incredibly difficult because of the wonderful families and team members we’ve had the privilege to serve and work alongside,” said Ashley McGuire, Incredible Pizza Co. executive vice president, in the release. “As we look ahead to our 25th anniversary and beyond, we’re making strategic changes to ensure the long-term health and vibrancy of our brand. This moment is bittersweet, but we want to end our time in St. Louis on a joyful note, with gratitude and celebration."
The release notes the company’s other locations will remain open. In addition to its Springfield operation on South Campbell Avenue, Incredible Pizza also has corporate-owned locations in Tulsa and Warr Acres, Oklahoma, Memphis, Tennessee, and San Antonio, Texas, along with franchises in Conroe, Texas, Monterrey, Mexico, and Chihuahua, Mexico.
The St. Louis location opened in December 2012.
