A Ford Motor Co. and SK Innovation plant in Tennessee will need to meet high job requirements to qualify for incentives.
The Megasite Authority of West Tennessee board approved a land lease agreement that requires the hiring of more than 5,000 full-time positions. Otherwise, at least part of a $500 million state grant for the project would have to be paid back.
The $5.6 billion plant is designed to build electric F-Series pickups and batteries.

This is awesome. Too many times companies have "promised" "X" amount of jobs in order to receive tax abatements etc., only to discover down the road that the company never attained their promised labor pool. IF.....there is no larceny in the hearts of FORD execs, this is a good deal for everyone.
