Inc. editor, Stack's writing partner to speak at Drury

Bo Burlingham, author and editor-at-large of Inc. magazine, will speak at Drury University on April 2.

Burlingham will present "Regaining Mojo" at 7 p.m. in Clara Thompson Hall as part of Drury's 2008-09 Entrepreneurship & Innovation convocation series. The event is free and open to the public.

Burlingham is the author of "Small Giants: Companies That Choose to be Great Instead of Big" and co-authored two books with Jack Stack, president and CEO of Springfield-based SRC Holdings Corp. - "The Great Game of Business" and "A Stake in the Outcome."

"The Great Game of Business," meanwhile, has been selected as one of the best business books of all time in a book released in February. "Great Game" details the turnaround of the near-bankrupt SRC in the early 1980s using Stack's open-book management style. It has been translated into eight languages and cited in more than 100 business books.

"The 100 Best Business Books of All Time," co-authored by Jack Covert and Todd Satterson, puts each featured book in context so readers can research solutions to the problems they face.
