Inc. 5000: BriteCore ranks highest among local firms

Springfield-based insurance administration software provider BriteCore climbed 388 spots to rank as the No. 1 local company on the annual Inc. 5000.

Published by Inc. magazine this week, the annual report ranks the country’s fastest-growing private companies by 2016-18 revenue growth. Ten Springfield-area companies made the list this year.

BriteCore, which in May ranked No. 5 on Springfield Business Journal’s Dynamic Dozen list, has an Inc. ranking this year of No. 1,558. That places the firm at No. 22 among Missouri companies on the fast-growth list.

The top-ranking Inc. 5000 company in Missouri was St. Louis-based Sapper Consulting, an advertising and marketing firm that posted 2016-18 revenue growth of 2,274% to $6.4 million. No. 1 on the full list is Phoenix, Arizona-based Freestar, which produced 36,680% three-year revenue growth to $36.9 million in the advertising and marketing industry.
