Swedish home and furniture company Ikea is planning an investment in the United States to the tune of more than $2.2 billion.
The investment will go toward new stores, pickup locations, sustainability efforts and other developments.
The company also is focusing on its omnichannel retail experience, in which online and in-store shopping experiences complement each other.
