IHOP stuffs bacon and cheesecake into its waffles

Waffullicious or just plain wawful? For a limited time, you can decide for yourself if IHOP's on to something with its so-called "waffullicious waffles."
 
The restaurant chain known for serving copious amounts of breakfast foods is now offering waffles pumped up with blueberries, blueberry compote and bits of New York cheesecake or, for those who prefer their waffles on the savory side, chunks of bacon and cheddar cheese. As one can surmise, the 750-calorie Very Blueberry Cheesecake waffle and the 820-calorie Bac n' Cheddar number aren't for the faint of appetite or anyone worried about their figure.
 
Bloomberg Businessweek reports the souped-up waffles are a way for IHOP to capitalize on diners' hunger for foods with intense flavors, without much effort: It already stocks the ingredients used.
