Midwest grocer Hy-Vee named a president and CEO for its retail operations.
Jeremy Gosch also was appointed as vice chair of the company's board. Gosch, currently president and chief operating officer, is slated to start in the new role Oct. 1.
With the move, Hy-Vee is introducing a dual CEO structure. Aaron Wiese late last month was promoted to CEO and president of Hy-Vee's supply chain and subsidiaries, as well as board vice chair.
Longtime CEO Randy Edeker is stepping away from the role as he focuses on his duties as chair and executive director of the board.
