Hy-Vee issues recall for Summer Fresh Pasta Salad

Posted online
Hy-Vee has issued a recall for its self-branded Summer Fresh Pasta Salad due to possible listeria contamination.

The Des Moines, Iowa-based supermarket chain said the frozen vegetebles used to make the ready-to-eat pasta were potentially contaminated. The vegetables were produced by Jefferson, Ga.-based Inventure Foods, according to KCRG.com.

Hy-Vee's Springfield store is not on the list of facilities affected by the recall. Two Missouri stores made the list: one in Jefferson City and another in St. Joseph.
