Hurricane Sally left roughly 550,000 people without power as it made landfall on Wednesday.
At least one person was killed and hundreds were rescued from flooded areas.
"Catastrophic and life-threatening flooding continues over portions of the Florida Panhandle and southern Alabama," officials with the National Hurricane Center said.
