Hundreds of Chinese officials punished in vaccine scandal

Up to 357 Chinese government officials will lose their jobs or be demoted for their involvement in a massive vaccine scandal.

Authorities have filed 192 criminals cases and detained 202 people as part of the investigation into the sale of improperly stored vaccines.

The vaccines have been linked to 45 drug sales groups. They were shipped to 59 health institutions.
