Atlanta-based Huddle House Inc. announced plans to purchase Memphis, Tennessee-based Perkins Restaurant & Bakery.
Last month, Perkins filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Huddle House does not plan to convert Perkins' restaurants to its own brand.
