China’s Huawei Technologies Co. filed a lawsuit in the United States disputing claims that it's a national security threat.
The Federal Communications Commission last year designated the company as a security threat and banned American telecommunications operators from accessing a multibillion-dollar fund to buy Huawei-made telecom gear, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The suit states the FCC's ruling was "arbitrary, capricious and an abuse of discretion, and not supported by substantial evidence.”
