Chinese telecommunications giant reported a 39% jump in first-quarter revenue to $26.8 billion.
The company announced it signed 40 commercial contracts to supply carriers with 5G technology. Officials also said the company shipped over 70,000 5G base stations.
Net profits rose about 8%, company officials said.
