Local human resources professionals will offer their insights into the hiring-and-retention dilemma in a panel discussion, "How To Retain and Attract Quality Employees in a Tight Labor Market," at 1 p.m. Oct. 15 at the University Plaza Trade Center.
The panel, facilitated by Greg Williams, of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, includes human resources professionals from First Card, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Springfield ReManufacturing Corporation and Penmac Personnel Services.
