H&R Block conducted a restructuring at its Kansas City headquarters.
The company promoted 90 employees while additionally laying off 90 workers.
"We're doing this to align our strategy and our organizational structure more closely, so we can get faster in how we deliver for the customer," said H&R Block CEO Jeff Jones.
