Kansas City-based H&R Block Inc. is delaying its return-to-office plans.
The company had been slated to bring back employees in early September. However, the date is now open-ended due to a spike in COVID-19 cases.
“We really felt like the safest option we had was to delay the return," said Tiffany Monroe, H&R Block’s chief people and culture officer. "We want to monitor the environment, and we’ve committed to giving our team ample notice if anything changes."
