H&R Block co-founder dies at 96

H&R Block Inc. co-founder Henry Bloch died Tuesday. He was 96.

Bloch founded H&R Block with his brother Richard in 1955. It became a public company in 1962, and since then it has not missed a dividend payment.

Bloch retired as CEO of the company in 1992 and exited as chairman in 2000.
