The House of Representatives is expected to start impeachment proceedings for President Donald Trump as soon as today.
The House is slated to start by voting on a resolution that would call on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment and relieve Trump of his duties. That measure only would advance with unanimous consent, which is unlikely.
Calls have mounted for Trump's removal from office after the insurrection at the Capitol last week.
