House passes measure to clamp down on products from Xinjiang

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a measure to ban imports from China's Xinjiang region.

The legislation was drawn up over concerns about forced labor, part of the federal government's pushback against Beijing's treatment of its Uyghur Muslim minority.

The Senate is expected to pass the bill, and President Joe Biden has said he would sign it.
