House member to seek state auditor post

A Missouri House member plans to seek the Democratic nomination for state auditor next year.

Two-term member Jay Swearingen is expected to make an official campaign announcement in October, according to KSPR.

Current state auditor, Republican Tom Schweich, is completed his first term after being elected in 2010.
