A downtown St. Louis hotel has closed abruptly.
Owner Michael Qualizza announced the closure of the Last Hotel in the historic International Shoe Co. building. The name refers to the “last" tool used for shoemaking.
Qualizza has been in multiple lawsuits with business partner Neil Freeman over hotel operations, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
