Bob Bachman of Convoy of Hope tags a shipment of humanitarian aid supplies Sept. 29 to be shipped to Nicaragua. Convoy teamed up with Rainbow Network to ship about $40,000 worth of supplies to rural communities in Nicaragua, including new clothing, shoes, school supplies and electrical generators. Rainbow Network already has leaders in 12 rural areas near Ciudad Dario, Nicaragua, ready to distribute the supplies. The group hopes to assist more than 5,500 people in the area, where the average wage is less than $1 per day.
