Hooters parent company switches gears

The owner of restaurant chain Hooters is headed in a new direction.

Chanticleer Holdings Inc. agreed to combine with Sonnet BioTherapeutics Inc. in a so-called reverse merger.

Under the terms of the deal, Chanticleer will spin off its restaurant holdings into a new publicly traded company.
