Hood-Rich Inc. is the structural engineer and architect for Great Southern Bank’s new branch at 620 E. Harrison in Republic. Tyler J. Peck of Hood-Rich is the project architect. Guy A. Wilkerson is the structural engineer, and Norman Goth of Smith-Goth Engineers Inc. is the mechanical and electrical engineer. Great Southern Bank is serving as its own general contractor for the 2,000-square-foot banking facility. The bank will include a spacious lobby, four employee offices, a safe-deposit-box room and walk-up teller service. There also will be five covered drive-through lanes and an automated teller machine. The exterior of the building, which is scheduled for completion this fall, is split-faced block with brick and exterior insulation finish system.
