Hong Kong's government on Wednesday withdrew an extradition bill that's partly to blame for months of protests.
There was no sign the withdrawal of the bill would stop protests. Protestors are seeking a switch to democracy in Hong Kong, rather than rule by China.
The protests have often turned violent, with police most recently spraying high-pressure blue-dyed water at protestors.
