Honda Motor Co. announced it would issue a recall for some 1.1 million U.S. vehicles.
The Acura and Honda vehicles have Takata airbags in they driver's seat with a defect that could cause the airbags to rupture in a crash.
The vehicles involved in the recall were previously repaired, according to Reuters.
