Honda recalls another 4.9M vehicles over faulty airbags

Honda Motor Co. on Thursday recalled another 4.89 million vehicles worldwide with potentially faulty airbags made by Takata Corp.

The U.S. isn't affected by the latest recall that counts vehicles in Japan and other countries, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The move comes a day after Nissan Motor Co. and Toyota Motor Corp.recalled 6.56 million vehicles with Takata airbags. Including Honda's latest action, over 35 million vehicles from at least 10 automakers have been recalled since 2008.
