In Branson, where much of the construction news of late has focused on commercial construction and the Branson Landing development, The Vacation Channel is gearing up for the 10th annual Branson Tri-Lakes Building & Home Show Feb. 10-12 at Chateau on the Lake. The show is open 2-8 p.m. Feb. 10; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 11 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 12. Admission is $2 per person; children younger than 12 get in free.
Cinda Bauer, event coordinator for the Branson Tri-Lakes show, said that there are 135 booths reserved. Exhibitors pretty much run the gamut, with “lenders, all the way through landscapers and everything in between,” Bauer said.
The Vacation Channel didn't start the Tri-Lakes Building & Home Show, Bauer said, but has been running it for several years.
“There was a group of gentlemen who were the Tri-Lakes Safety Committee … who started it 10 years ago in the old Branson City Hall, and they had probably 10 or 15 booths,” Bauer said. “After about five years, it just got to be too much for them, because they were just volunteers, so they came to us and asked us if we would be interested in hosting it.”
