Home Depot's longtime CFO to retire

Carol Tomé, the longtime chief financial officer of The Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD), plans to retire at the end of August.

She's been with the company for 24 years and was named CFO in 2001.

Company CEO Craig Menear said since she was named CFO, "we have delivered more than a 450% increase in value to our shareholders, due in part to her many contributions."

In 2018, her total compensation was $6.6 million.
