Home Depot to add 1,000 tech jobs

Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD) announced plans to add 1,000 technology jobs.

The move is part of a three-year strategic investment plan to the tune of $11.1 billion.

The Atlanta-based home improvement chain is hiring in its home city, as well as in Austin and Dallas, Texas.
