Home Depot's shares rose by more than 3 percent in premarket trading Tuesday on its quarterly results.
The company reported $2.51 per share in earnings, beating the $2.26 per share analysts expected. Revenue of $26.3 billion topped analysts' forecasts of $26.26 billion.
Home Depot also raised its full-year outlook with sales expected to grow 7.2 percent.
