Home Depot shares closed down more than 3% on Tuesday after the company released its fourth quarter earnings report.
CNBC reports the share dip came after the company did not provide an outlook for the year. In declining to provide a forecast, company officials said they are not sure how long the pandemic will last and how it will impact consumer spending.
Home Depot's fourth quarter earnings per share were $2.65, beating analysts' expectations of $2.62 per share.
