Home Depot agreed to pay the federal government $5.7 million to settle charges it sold recalled products.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission alleged Home Depot sold recalled washing machines, fire extinguishers and other faulty products between 2012 and 2016.
Atlanta-based Home Depot did not admit to guilt in the settlement.
