Home Depot's quarterly revenue and same-store sales fell short of analysts' expectations.
Net sales rose to $26.5 billion, below the $26.6 billion analysts were looking for. Same-store sales were up 3.7 percent in the fourth quarter, below Wall Street forecasts of 4.5 percent.
Earnings were $2.3 billion, or $2.09 per diluted share. That's up from $1.8 billion, or $1.52 per diluted share, a year earlier.
